I played there a couple months ago and we has a great time since it”s a reunion with me Eddie Turbo and Atom matter from our 3THW party that ended in 2008. No it’s not warehouse parties in general that are in trouble it’s our local community spot that needs some funds so we can still do what we do safely and securely. Dr. No’s, Comic-Con and My 2009 Birthday Jam

I always have my birthday party at some venue in San Diego and they’re always a lot of fun. Three years ago it was at Beauty Bar (Thanks Blush crew), two years ago at Kava (3THW monthly), last year at The Office and this year at The Ruby Room. I’m excited about this year since we have DJ DRM Frik and Frak and many bands from LA provided by Giant Robot.com. Plus it’s Comic-Con time so there will be over 150,000 extra people in town and The Infusion Project is putting on its Comic Concoction, with eight events/after parties during the week. I hope to see you at this or any of the other parties during the week.

every 4th Thursday I play music at Hive Sushi from 7pm-10pm. If you haven’t been there, they have excellent sushi, happy hour from 5-7pm and a full bar & great beer selection.





Dr. No’s Fantasy is a lounge event like no other. Come down and see lounge acts, burlesque shows, live art, live music and djs.





For all you weekend workers, Tiesday is a good day to go out and have fun before you start your work week. Air Conditioned Bar is a cool little spot and this Tuesday event will be a lot of fun. We’ll be playing a lot of dubby, mid-rempo jams of all varieties. it’s free so you’ll have more cash to buy drinks. That’s always nice…

I Have A Thing for Download on Soundcloud

I just posted an original production on Soundcloud. You can listen or download. Please leave comments there and add me as a contact if you use the service. I Have A Thing is an unfinished track that will be available on my upcoming album of original material. I wanted to play it out and test it so I added a vocal (Leroy Styles Workbird acapella) that I bought from Traxsource to give it a little more personality.

The final “I Have A Thing” will sound completely different: arrangement, vocal and more funk elements (no samples so I can own it entirely. This version has been working pretty well in my sets so I thought I would post it there to see if anyone else likes it.

Dr. No’s Fantasy Monthly

Dr. No’s Fantasy (now monthly) is Saturday night. This is not a pretentious “lounge” party. Upcoming Events

Coming in Thursday April 9th I’ll be at Modus Operandi @ Modus Gastro Pub brought to you by Schugariver and The Infusion Project. It’s a cool, unique new party where djs and musicians collaborate in various styles of music.

Saturday April 18th I’ll be playing a private warehouse party featuring a second installment of our recent Latin Love event at Kava(check out the video!). I’ll be playing all night from 9pm-4am; it’s rare that I get to play a marathon set so this will be a special night. I can play for hours if there are people feeling the music and feeding me with energy. The longest set I played was a private party at Mom and Dad’s (good friends and DYMK regulars) house back in 2000 which lasted 12 hours. Anyway i may be able to invite some people so hit me up if you want to go and I’ll see what I can do.

Latin Love

Don’t miss this exciting show. I’ve been wanting to throw events under my Middle Section moniker (mnamed after the Middle Section mix series on  my mixes page) for awhile. At the same time I’ve wanted to do a latin-themed night where the music we feature is various styles influenced by Latin and African culture. You can expect a tons of variety and some great rhythms tonight.
