Don’t miss the free Halloween event tonight. I’m supposed to be closing in the Gallery, so come down and get down. I’ll be playing select joints from this mix and much more Halloween goodness that I picked up.

I’ve been ignoring many of these digital dj interfaces up until now.
I recently sold my M-Audio Torq system since it didn’t work as consistently as I wanted; anytime I wanted to use it I spent way too much time fiddling with it. I also had trouble playing gigs with it since everyone else uses Serato and it’s not a good idea to keep switching boxes and cables.
So why do I want this? I like the idea that I can bring this with my laptop, all in a small backpack, and I can just plug it into a line out on the mixer. This means I’ll have two digital decks with midi-control and then I can still play using my record bag that I always bring.
The best of all worlds I always say…

Just for kicks today I searched where I’m at on Google.
These results would have been better in the old days when people might have searched online for a specific type of dj. Now they just search for music genres and click on names they recognize.
- Number 1 for downtempo mixes san diego
- Number 3 in San Diego for downtempo dj san diego just under properlly chilled (terrestrial radio station 94.9)
- Number 94 under Google for only downtempo dj - that’s worldwide!
- Number 3 for deep house dj san diego
- Number 7 for deep house dj los angeles
- and finally number 210 under deep house dj which included everybody in the world.
and on Yahoo
Number 1 downtempo mixes san diego
Number 19 for deep house dj los angeles
Number 19 for deep house dj san diego
Number 7 downtempo dj san diego
Number 8 downtempo dj los angeles
Not bad. If you’re reading this and want some help designing your website and with getting rankings like these hit me up. I’ll give you a good deal.
